In just over 29 hours from going on General Sale, our first concert, “River’s Pride”, at the Discovery Museum, Newcastle, sold out! AND it’s not even for another 2 months! On top of the fact that when we launched to accept singers to join us we were oversubscribed in 34 hours, extended the capacity by 30% and STILL had another waiting list in 4 days… we don’t where to start other than to say “thank you”.

Bringing together a group of like-minded singers in the north east who want to use their passion for singing to bring their passion to the community, support local charities and school projects, AND get to sing music and stories they have a personal connection with, has clearly touched a nerve. The team spirit and excitement in the rehearsal room is palpable.

This is just the beginning for Sing United. This is community singing. #voicestogether
