Sing United Supports
For every concert that Sing United creates, we will support a charity that is related to the theme of the music and the message behind the songs. For the River’s Pride project, we are delighted to announce that this will be the incredible RNLI at Blyth, Northumberland.
Sing United Supports is just one of the ways that Sing United aims to support our local community. By adopting a charity for every concert, we are able to use our love for singing and music with a meaning for extra good! This way we also get to give our backing to the people and projects that make our community what it is.
Since 1810…
The first lifeboat was stationed close to High Light on the south side of the River Blyth back in 1810. Since then they have played a continuing active role in the sea safety of the Northumberland coastline.
Blyth lifeboat is just one of over 300 RNLI lifeboats operating from over 230 RNLI lifeboat stations around the UK and ROI. The RNLI depends entirely upon voluntary contributions of both money and time.
Sing United is delighted to announce that RNLI Blyth will be present at the River’s Pride concert at the Discovery Museum, Newcastle, on July 6th. We hope you will support us and them by donating whatever you can.
